ABOUT VOODOO STUDIO

Alexandros Lykostratis is the engineer behind Voodoo Project Studio. He was fascinated by music since being very young and began playing the piano at the age of 5, and later on, played the guitar in various local bands. Following his short musician career, he developed a passion for music production and began recording local bands. He then moved from Thessaloniki to Athens, to study sound engineering and to get to know Athens’ music scene. His work with numerous artists and bands, both live and in the studio, has exposed him to a range of different genres, making him a very versatile audio professional.

VOODOO PIANO SESSIONS









The ‘Voodoo Piano Sessions’ began just after the first covid quarantine in Greece as a simple idea: musicians can visit and perform one song on the piano. The performance is recorded and filmed, giving the artist the ability to own a video as a means to promote themselves, for free. The initiative was started by Alexandros Lykostratis, owner of the Voodoo Project Studio, so he could experiment on piano recordings. Later, Denia Palaiologou joined the team as a videographer. The whole project aims to help artists promote their work and also support them. There is no genre restriction or style of performance, just a vibey atmosphere and coffee!
